Welcome from the Dean

Dear Wharton Alumni and Friends,

I am honored to invite you to join us for the Wharton Global Alumni Forum, which will take place in Madrid on June 24-25, 2010.  This year, for the first time, we will combine our efforts with the School’s alumni and friends in Latin America, which will produce the 13th Global Alumni Forum held in the Europe, Africa and the Middle East region.  We are pleased to extend this inspiring collaboration across cultures and look forward to the successful partnerships that it will generate.

This year’s Forum theme, “A Whole New World: Where Do We Go From Here?,” will be lead by Forum Chairman Sebastian Escarrer, WG’93.  All meetings will take place at the Meliá Castilla, presenting an ideal setting for the exciting and unique discourse in Madrid.

With the School’s unparalleled global network of 85,000 alumni throughout the world, the Forum will produce a number of engaging dialogues and discussions on the today’s most relevant and timely business topics.  Throughout the history of Wharton’s Global Alumni Forums, these exchanges have served as an acute catalyst for innovation, allowing better business practices to be shared and involved on an international scale.

In “A Whole New World: Where Do We Go From Here?,” the Forum will offer insight from alumni and friends on the most significant issues in today’s marketplace, enabling us to bring new strength and thought leadership to our global audience.  I look forward to seeing you in Madrid, and building greater engagement with Wharton’s distinguished community and beyond.

Sincerely,

Thomas S. Robertson
